Ideal for the magnum guns. On airguns you hear of even Burris, Leupold, Nikon, scopes failing. Most of the time it is too big of a scope on a magnum springer, cheap mounts and most often poor sealing of the powerplant. Some models in specific are so harsh at 12 ft. lbs from bad piston seals and loose unchoked barrels that most scopes will not hold up. Here the piston seal would be the cure and proper lubrication. The guns I speak of even have trigger parts failing from excessive recoil and vibration. ( Please don't ask for names)
